Settling in to TWENTY-SEVEN

It's crazy to think that I have been twenty seven for almost a month now. One month down, another 11 more to enjoy. What can I say? Life is WONDERFUL! Of course I have my moments and a few bad days here and there, but for the most part I cant complain. I am deeply, passionately in love. I have great friends, some old, some new and I recently found my long lost twin (you know who you are). With my recent acquisition of a B.S. degree, I technically never have to set foot in school again. I spend a ton of energy on my part time job, doing something I love. I get to be an extra mommy to an adorable little redhead that makes my heart melt as I rock her to sleep. At twenty seven I have so much to be thankful for.
The biggest lesson I have learned this past year is that love is not an exclamation point, the love I have for life and for Ian, grows every day and just when I think it can't possibly grow anymore, it does.
Thanks to everyone who joined me in celebrating my birthday. From going shoe shopping with my gram-gram, a crazy brunch at Ruth's Diner, Dinner with Mom and Ed, to the bonfire of birthday candles at the Vegh's. I appreciate it all.

The Cutest Little Ladybug

I can't believe that Kenna is two. Tear. I don't know when it happened, one day she was a baby and the next she is a little girl. An amazingly beautiful little girl.
O.K, so I will be honest when I say that I sometimes go a little overboard on the girlie, but I honestly just can't help but being a girl.
Kenna's birthday party was precious. My first instinct was PINK but after talking to Ian we decided on the Laydbug theme. My friend Nissa helped me make TUTU's for all of the little girls and in keeping with the theme, Kenna's TUTU was red with big black pom-poms. Ian and I stayed up until 2:00am that morning finishing the delicious LADYBUG CUPCAKES. Ian is quite the bakers assistant ;-)
The best part of the day was being surrounded by friends and family and a pile of little girls in TUTU's.

Discovery Gateway

The Discovery Gateway was such a fabulous adventure!!! Ian, Kenna, and I joined the fun to help celebrate Emma Vegh's Miracle Day.

I can't say enough about this place, we spent hours never having to tell Kenna "NO,"
or "Don't touch." Kenna could touch anything her little heart desired. She loved this red car the best. Ian and I had a great time watching Kenna's wonderment while taking turns chasing her around.
